2008 N.C. 1A Football Power Ratings
Last updated: Thursday, December 18, 2008
There have been several announced forfeits this season for use of
ineligible players:
1) Overhills forfeited a win to Red Springs
2) East Wilkes forfeited 3 wins to North Wilkes, North Stokes, and West Wilkes
3) West Wilkes forfeited 2 wins to South Stokes and Alleghany, but the East
Wilkes forfeit win will not count for them because they also used an ineligible
player. The West Wilkes-East Wilkes game is ruled a double-forfeit.
The records shown include the forfeits, but the power ratings are not affected by the forfeits.
These ratings are based on several factors, including win-loss record, schedule
strength, and margin of victory in games. The most recent games are counted
with more emphasis than those played earlier in the season.
