2010 N.C. 1A Football Conference Standings

Welcome to my power ratings and conference standings page. I will be updating
these records every Tuesday night during the season. To determine the
predicted point spread for a game, simply take the difference between the two
team ratings, and add 2 points for the home team.
These ratings are based on several factors, including win-loss record, schedule
strength, and margin of victory in games. The most recent games are counted
with slightly more emphasis than those played earlier in the season. Forfeits
and games against non-NC teams are reflected in the records, but are not
included in the power ratings.
Notes:
1) KIPP Pride has a forfeit loss against Central Virginia Homeschool.
2) Pamlico has been declared ineligible for the playoffs due to a fighting
incident that occurred in a game this season.
3) Gates County has a forfeit loss against 2A Pasquotank.
4) Albemarle has forfeited 3 wins against West Stanly, Chatham Central, and
South Davidson due to the use of an ineligible player.
5) West Montgomery has forfeited 2 wins against 2A Jordan-Matthews and 1A North
Moore, and their game against 1A Albemarle, due to use of an ineligible player.
6) East Montgomery has forfeited 2 wins against 1A Central Academy and 1A Union
Academy due to use of an ineligible player.
