2010 N.C. 2A Football Conference Standings

Welcome to my power ratings and conference standings page. I will be updating
these records every Tuesday night during the season. To determine the
predicted point spread for a game, simply take the difference between the two
team ratings, and add 2 points for the home team.
These ratings are based on several factors, including win-loss record, schedule
strength, and margin of victory in games. The most recent games are counted
with slightly more emphasis than those played earlier in the season. Forfeits
and games against non-NC teams are reflected in the records, but are not
included in the power ratings.
Notes:
1) 2A Atkins gained a forfeit victory over 4A R.J. Reynolds for use of an
ineligible player.
2) 2A Jordan-Matthews gained a forfeit victory over 1A West Montgomery for use
of an ineligible player.
3) 2A Greene Central forfeited 2 victories to 3A North Lenoir and 2A North Pitt
due to use of an ineligible player.
