2010 N.C. 3A Football Conference Standings

Welcome to my power ratings and conference standings page. I will be updating
these records every Tuesday night during the season. To determine the
predicted point spread for a game, simply take the difference between the two
team ratings, and add 2 points for the home team.
These ratings are based on several factors, including win-loss record, schedule
strength, and margin of victory in games. The most recent games are counted
with slightly more emphasis than those played earlier in the season. Forfeits
and games against non-NC teams are reflected in the records, but are not
included in the power ratings.
Notes:
1) 3A Union Pines and 3A North Lenoir are ineligible for the playoffs due to fighting incidents that occurred in games this season.
2) 2A Greene Central forfeited 2 victories to 3A North Lenoir and 2A North Pitt
due to use of an ineligible player.
3) 3A South Brunswick is banned from further playoff competition as of November 22, 2010 as the result of a fighting incident in a playoff game. As a result,
3A Havelock received a forfeit victory in their 3rd round playoff game.
